Dr. Sunga received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. After practicing as a general dentist for a few years, she realized her avid interest towards endodontics and accepted a position at the endodontic specialty program at the University of California in San Francisco, where she earned her certificate in endodontics. She now resides in Dallas, with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, an English bulldog and a corgi. Dr. Sunga is a board-eligible endodontist and an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, North Texas Dental Society, and American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Sunga’s drive to deliver quality care comes from her desire to relieve patients of pain and disease, while also saving their teeth for as long as possible, thereby improving their quality of life. A self-proclaimed homebody, Dr. Sunga’s favorite thing to do is to cozy up with her family and watch TLC shows. But she also enjoys watching live entertainment, such as musical theater, concerts, and stand-up comedy. Sometimes, she likes to jog and do yoga.
