Dr. Poorya Jalali

Dr. Poorya Jalali received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) in 2008, and he received his Certificate in Endodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York in 2015. Dr. Jalali is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Jalali is a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He is responsible for both didactic and clinical endodontic instruction, including supervising and evaluating dental students’ clinical performance and directing the undergraduate advanced endodontic course.

He is also active in research. His research interests focus on clinical research with the aim of promoting evidence-based endodontics. He has numerous publications in various peer-reviewed dental journals, such as Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal, and Dental Hypotheses. Dr. Jalali is especially interested in building a collaborative connection with faculty in different areas of science. He is also a member of Journal of Endodontics Scientific Advisory Board.

Dr. Jalali is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, American Association of Dental Research, International Association of Dental Research, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and The Greater DFW Endodontic Society. His other interests besides dentistry include drawing and music.
